Parties:
“We”; “Our” – refers to Collaro, as a registered company.
“You”; “Your” – refers to the client.
Terms:
“website” – refers to the online website used by Collaro® to display and sell their products.
“client” – refers to any person browsing or purchasing products on the Collaro® online website.
INTRODUCTION:
Accessing any of the pages on this website implies that you agree to the following Terms and Conditions (Ts & Cs) of the use of this website.
These Terms and Conditions will apply to all orders concluded by or with Collaro for the sale of any products whether in-store or from our online shop, collaro.co.za (the Site).
Placing an order, providing any delivery instruction(s) or accepting delivery/collection of any products from Collaro® will constitute your unreserved acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and your agreement to follow and be bound by them.
Collaro® provides its services to you subject to the following Ts and Cs:
PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Selected products are advertised on the Collaro website (www.collarohome.co.za). Most of these products are displayed and available to view in our showrooms.
Details of our showrooms appear on the Site.
While we make every effort to ensure that the product(s) you purchase, including leather, fabric and timber products, correspond as closely as possible to our sample products shown on our website and in store, slight discrepancies may occur.
Colours:
The colours of our products shown on the website may look different on your device’s screen compared to the actual product. This is because various screens display colours differently. It is thus strongly recommended that you visit our showrooms to see the actual colour/hue of the product. Collaro® cannot be held responsible for any mistakes regarding items which you have ordered whose genuine colour is different from that which appears on your device screen.
Natural Flaws:
Dye-lot differences and natural flaws may occur in the fabric, leather and wood colour and are acceptable.
PRICES AND METHOD OF PAYMENT:
All prices displayed in store and on the Collaro® website are quoted in South African Rands and include Value Added Taxation (VAT).
Full payment of the purchase price and delivery charges are required before products may be collected or delivered. The product(s) will remain the property of Collaro® until payment is received in full.
All major debit cards, credit cards as well as EFT payments are accepted.
EFT payments are only accepted for in-store purchases. Proof of payment must be forwarded to the sales consultant who assisted you. Please allow three (3) business days for the receipt of EFT funds to be received by Collaro®.
Goods will only be released for delivery or collection once Collaro® has received the funds.
The products and prices that are displayed on this site and in-store may change without notification and are subject to availability. Collaro® and its agents will not be held responsible for any misstatements or errors that may emanate from this site.
PAYMENT:
For orders placed in-store, a 50% deposit of the purchase price is required in advanced in order for manufacturing to commence. The balance of the payment must be made and must reflect in Collaro’s bank account before delivery or collection can take place.
For orders placed online, full payment must be made in order for manufacturing to commence and for delivery/collection to take place.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION POLICY:
Our in-house delivery service delivers in Gauteng for R730. We can organise delivery through out South Africa and also overseas, the fee will vary accordingly.
Delivery will be affected during business days only.
A fee will be charged for all deliveries, the cost of which will be reflected on the appropriate invoice in accordance with Collaro® policy.
Full payment of the price and delivery charges are required before products may be collected or delivered. The product(s) will remain the property of Collaro® until payment is received in full.
The delivery lead time which you are quoted at the time of order is an estimate of the delivery date. We will make every effort to achieve this date, however, circumstances which are beyond our control may result in the date being changed. If this occurs, Collaro® will make every effort to ensure that you are contacted and updated on the progress of the order.
Delivery dates quoted are subject to fabric availability, your location and whether your products are made-to-order.
You may also arrange to collect your order from our warehouse if you do not wish to make use of our delivery service. Speak to our sales consultants to arrange collection.
Please ensure that you inspect your product(s) on delivery for any defects or damage before accepting them.
Upon collection or delivery, all risk in the product passes to the customer.
Long haul wrapping and crating:
Wrapping and crating for local and export long haul transport is not included in the quoted price.
Risk and loss:
The risk of loss and title passes to you upon delivery as evidenced by the signature of the person taking delivery on Collaro®’s copy of the invoice or delivery note.
If you choose to collect your products from Collaro®’s premises, you unconditionally agree and accept that the risk of loss for those items passes on to you at the time of collection.
Product assembly:
Collaro® offers free assembly for any product delivered by Collaro’s in-house delivery service. However, a fee will be charged for the installation of mirrors and art.
Product assembly by customers is not recommended. Collaro® will not accept any responsibility for items that are damaged due to incorrect assembly by customers. Such products will not be considered for refunds or returns.
Accessibility
We want to help you with a smooth and successful delivery so please make sure that the items you are purchasing will be suitable for the required space where they will be placed and that they will fit through any entrances and hallways of your home as we will not refund or replace any goods which do not fit into a room or through doors/entrances.
REFUNDS, RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS:
Made-to-order items will not be eligible for refunds or exchanges as they have been manufactured specifically for you.
You may not cancel your order whilst Collaro® is within the lead time quoted.

CUSTOM ORDERS:
You will be provided with a quotation for made to order orders. It is your responsibility to verify the correctness of all information on the quotation.
Products which are custom ordered may differ slightly from samples due to:
- Our handcrafting processes;
- The grain and pigment of the timber;
- The dye and pattern of fabrics and leathers.

CONDITION OF DISPLAYED PRODUCTS:
If you are purchasing a particular display product straight off of a Collaro® showroom floor (as viewed by you), the product is sold to you in the specific condition in which it is in. Your purchasing the item will constitute your acceptance of the product and its condition.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS AND MAINTENANCE:
Collaro® offers a Fabric Shield coating service (at an extra fee) for mark and stain resistance
The cleaning of your fabric and leather furniture products must be done by professional dry cleaners.
DO NOT use soap to spot clean your fabric and leather products. Care and Maintenance instructions are available on our website.
Leather must be moistened with a leather polish quarterly. DO NOT use any solvents or soap, it will dry the leather. This will eventually fade the leather’s colour and create cracks on the surface.

DISCOUNTS, PROMOTIONS AND SALES
Discount offers and codes are not applicable to “Sale” items, unless otherwise specified. All pricing can be confirmed in our showrooms.
Sales items may not be returned, exchanged or refunded.
ERRORS:
Collaro® makes every effort to ensure that all the information we provide is correct, however, we cannot be responsible for any form of misprint. When placing your order, it is your duty to check and confirm the details. Collaro® will not be held responsible for any incorrect orders that are placed.
Should any of the pricing of our products display any obvious errors, we will correct the error as soon as we have been notified of it. Collaro® will not be bound by the incorrect price.
COMMUNICATION, COMMENTS AND REVIEWS:
Visitors may post comments, reviews and other communications, submit suggestions, questions and other comments so long as the content is not defamatory, obscene, illegal, threatening, considered hate speech, invasive of privacy or otherwise injurious to third parties and does not consist of or contain commercial solicitation, chain letters, software viruses, mass mailings, political campaigning or any other form of “spam”.
Collaro® reserves the right to edit or remove such content.
If you do submit material or post content, you grant Collaro® a nonexclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual right to use, adapt, modify, publish, reproduce, translate, display and distribute the content in any media. You also grant Collaro® the right to use the name that you submit in connection with the content. You represent that the content is accurate and does not violate policy and will not cause injury to any entity or person.
Collaro® has the right but no obligation to monitor and remove or edit content and activity.
Collaro® assumes no liability or responsibility for any content posted by customers or third parties.
Collaro® will not be held liable for any damage caused directly or indirectly by accessing the site.
LICENSE AND SITE ACCESS:
Collaro® grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of this site or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of Collaro®. INDEMNIFICATION:
Collaro® and any of its representatives or agents will not be liable for any loss, damage or liability of any kind arising from the use or inability to use this Site or the services or content provided through or from this Site.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS:
You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
SHARING INFORMATION:
Collaro® will not share, transfer, sell or disclose any of your personal information with any other entity or person without your consent.
AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Collaro® may, at any time, amend any of the above Terms and Conditions without notice. It is your responsibility to check them regularly and make sure that you are satisfied with the changes. Should you not be satisfied, you must not place any orders on the Site, and you must not in any other way use it.
If any condition is deemed for any reason unenforceable, void or invalid, the condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the enforceability and validity of the remaining condition(s).
GENERAL:
Unless any applicable law prescribes otherwise, our Terms and Conditions and any agreement made with Collaro® to buy any product(s) or a connected service, shall be governed by prevailing South African law.
