Shipping policy

DELIVERY AND COLLECTION POLICY:

Our in-house delivery service delivers in Gauteng.

A fee will be charged for all deliveries, the cost of which will be reflected on the appropriate invoice in accordance with Collaro® policy.
If you are shopping on our on-line site, your delivery cost will be calculated at checkout once you have confirmed your order and address. If you are purchasing items in-store, you will be informed of the delivery fee by one of our consultants. 

Full payment of the price and delivery charges are required before products may be collected or delivered. The product(s) will remain the property of Collaro® until payment is received in full. 

The delivery lead time which you are quoted at the time of order is an estimate of the delivery date. We will make every effort to achieve this date, however, circumstances which are beyond our control may result in the date being changed. If this occurs, Collaro® will make every effort to ensure that you are contacted and updated on the progress of the order.

Delivery dates quoted are subject to fabric availability, your location and whether your products are made-to-order. 

Delivery will be affected during business days only. 

We can assist you in organising delivery anywhere in South Africa and also overseas.

You may also arrange to collect your order from our warehouse if you do not wish to make use of our delivery service. Speak to our sales consultants to arrange collection. Furniture collected is not wrapped. In these instances, wrapping requires an additional cost.

Upon collection or delivery, all risk in the product passes to the customer.

Please ensure that you inspect your product(s) on delivery for any defects or damage before accepting them. 

Long haul wrapping and crating:

Wrapping and crating for local and export long haul transport is not included in the quoted price.

Risk and loss:

If you choose to collect your products from Collaro’s premises, you unconditionally agree and accept that the risk of loss for those items passes on to you at the time of collection.
The risk of loss and title passes to you upon delivery as evidenced by the signature of the person taking delivery on Collaro’s copy of the invoice or delivery note. 

Product assembly:

Collaro offers free assembly for any product delivered by Collaro’s inhouse delivery service. However, a fee will be charged for the installation of mirrors and art. 

Product assembly by customers is not recommended. Collaro® will not accept any responsibility for items that are damaged due to incorrect assembly by customers. Such products will not be considered for refunds or returns. 

Accessibility

We want to help you with a smooth and successful delivery so please make sure that the items you are purchasing will be suitable for the space where they will be placed and that they will fit through any entrances and hallways of your home as we will not refund or replace any goods which do not fit into a room or through doors/entrances.
